Private Lessons are the quickest and most effective way of learning to dance. Offering the most flexibility to fit your schedule, lessons are conducted

one-on-one with a professional instructor, allowing more personal attention to your specific dance needs. Because you have the instructor’s undivided attention, many people find they can advance much faster in a private lesson than in a group setting.

From weddings to company parties to proms, private lessons can help you to feel comfortable moving across the dance floor with style. You can take private lessons one-at-a-time, or you can purchase a block of 5 or 10 lessons at a reduced rate. The number of lessons you take is entirely up to you, as there are never any lengthy contracts to sign.

What? I'm giving you the Prices up front?!

The Rochester Ballrom Club is restructuing the Private Lessons. After years of being based on the Level and Complexity of the material being learned, we are now going to have the same price for everyone regardless. The breakdown is as follows:

Individual Lesson: $65   •   Block of 5 Lessons: $290 Block of 10 Lessons: $500

Lessons are still One Hour each (not 45 minutes like some other places), and are the same price whether it’s one person or a couple. Blocks are still based on once a week. You can also do Semi-Private Lessons as well: simply add $10/couple/hour up to three couples.

* Private lessons are scheduled on an individual basis. A deposit is required to hold lessons and a 24-hour cancellation notice is required or the lesson is forfeited. Blocks of lessons must be scheduled once per week and if one cannot attend a lesson during the scheduled time, the lesson should be rescheduled during the same week. Dormant packages after 60 days are forfeited.
